Hmmm.... going back to my ol' D&D knowledge, I don't think his color is THAT out of place... I can imagine a duergar dwarf having that sort of coloration (although, duergar are evil, and not as friendly-looking as this guy). Anyhow, never let anyone tell you how something should look when it comes to original characters... otherwise, they wouldn't be very original, right?
