Sort of. Shin gets cursed early on and loses the ability to use conventional weaponry, so he improvises. As for Harlie, she's supposed to serve as a foil to him later on.

Oh, I tell ya... I've got lots of ideas that I wish I had the time and skills to put down on paper. I find the hardest part about doing anything is starting. At least you've taken the time to draw a few of the characters in your story. That's something I need to start doing. Here's hoping we can crack open that skull of yours and feast upon the delicious, delicious storyline within. XD

Sounds like an interesting story. You may want to consider doing short strips with the characters and then either tie them together or as a way to get yourself comfortable in doing longer and longer storylines. Breaking it up into short goals that are not too difficult to accomplish will allow you to get a lot more done than being overwhelmed by one long goal.

You should definately think about some sort of comic, or at least a backstory explanation on who the characters are. The characters have... well... character :D
