I don't think the railing at the front would have bent from the sinking

Well, she took on water from the bow; by the time she snapped in two, the stern was out of the water. That leaves a lot of everything rushing toward the bow railing, including the false steam funnel.

The railing was bent most likely from the impact of the bow when it crashed on the ocean floor. Researchers believe she was falling about 20-30 miles per hour.

I sugest you buy the book shadow divers, it talks all about the fact the ship had a structural flaw, a joint in it's hull that cased the epic split when she sank

Thanks, but I already know about the structure flaw. Between funnels 3 and 4 was the aft expansion join. And in that area of the ship was the second-class stair case and the engine room. Those sections within the vessel created a natural weak spot in the overall superlatively strong hull. When the stern rose about 30 degrees into the air, the structure of the hull failed at the mentioned weak stop, thus resulting in the Titanic breaking in two between the third and fourth funnels.

But did the ship broke up as she sank ? In the movie, you can see it breaks into two as it starts sinking into the water.

some say it was a 90% break, with a wee bit of metal holding the boat together untill it was 100% under water, other say it split in two while the bow was still above water

Well, how the ship broke is still in debate, and probably will be for many more years. However, I do agree that the vessel split open from the top down as it was sinking. This pic that I made is a concept of the Titanic almost immediately after it crashed on the ocean floor.

Yes, I do. Sadly, that is the result of deep sea submersibles landing on the boat deck prior to sending their little robots into the hull of the wreck.

Fun fact: this was actually the Titanic's sister the britannic. The really Titanic was actually a hospital ship to serve in the war. Why the name plates were switched? Many believe for insurance.
