i dont care what anyone says but for me "Zelda II: the adventures of Link" is my fav of all the Zelda games, I'm not saying its the best and Im not trying to defend it, and yes Ive played and finished almost every zelda game aside from those weird cdi zeldas, but personally its the best for me, I have beaten this game more then any other game that I have ever played, aside from "super mario bros."
and also, for anyone out there who has played link's awakening for the gameboy, a fun little tidbit in the shield (how else did Tarin know his name.)
anywho, been off and on this pic for quite awhile now, and just had this sudden urge to finish it, not the best of photoshop work, but for an image done completely in photoshop still some good practice for me. I just have to learn to paint especially decent background colors, but i think the flat colors work in the background for this pic.

ok to answer your question zelda may not be the same cause i don;t remember in which zelda game but in one the king states that all princess of Hyrule shall be named Zelda. which explains why the princess is always named Zelda and no it's not the same link it's simply the reincarnation of the original one (with some exceptions) there you go :) all explained
oh yea, that was this game, it started all the"every girl named zelda fiasco" it also started the sages names from OOT and the 7 crystals that later embody the sages in a few games.
I think thats another reason i love this particular one so much also, is because it floats on its own without very little needs to explain itself, you just go in and if you need the details of the story pic up the instruction manual, and if you dont, well, pretend the manual wasn't there and just enjoy the game, without any exception to his reincarnations or sequels and prequels or however, just take the game for what it is.

in my opinion, i think they're trying, "Zelda: twilight princess" he looked a bit like this one, got his old "cow hide brown" pants back on, as well as his brunette hair aside from his ugly blond.
however i dont think any of the sword designs live up to this one, the box just gave it so much ridiculous details that it was so hard to even imitate that kind of awesome.

zelda 2 is pretty interesting, i have it on my wii's virtual console, as well as the first game, and link to the past, ocarina of time, and majora's mask! :D
i LOVE a link to the past... probably my favorite LoZ... i loved finding all the upgrades for my sword and tunic, and the medallions were awesome to play with... light/dark world... had so much fun with that game.
twilight princess is another one i really loved, wolves are my favorite, and link transforming into a wolf made my day.
also, midna is possibly THE most attractive character i've seen in any game... in her imp form, anyway... didnt like her true form all that much.
wind waker was incredible too, i had tons of fun exploring the sea... ahh... so many lovely memories... I LOVE LEGEND OF ZELDA!!!

and i think i may try, however i did notice way into the game,
that if you beat level 7 and you dont get the treasure, then if you go to the town to get the "spell spell"
he will ask you to "come back when your ready" i had to start the whole game over
because i had such a hard time hammering away those woods and I never found the village,
i did discover that you could turn into a fairy and squash through the key holes, but that is limited by magic, soooooo.
run out of magic then stuck behind a door until death.

"triple eye rock" thats weird, i thought it had something to do with me cheating the game.
even still, after replaying the game up to that point he still gave me the magic before i went into the castle.
so, really dont know, but thats interesting for future reference, i always wondered what made him say that.

Yeah, Spell isn't particularly expensive, but for plot reasons it's basically the magical sword of the game. MASTER USING IT AND YOU CAN HAVE THIS. Thunder on the other hand literally requires a good few magic containers, and since one container is in hidden Kasuto...
Anyway, this is a great image. I've been thinking of doing something with Zelda II myself, but I don't know that I'll post it to fa. dA maybe.
