This was ridiculously fun to draw. I wanted to do something with 02 that hadn't been done before and without abusing blood for effect, so I decided to go crazy with the fact that he has a thorny tail.
I tried a few new things with this, like using my sketch as the lineart instead of cleaning it up and redoing it like I usually do. I think the busy scratchy effect works well for this particular image. This is also the first time I've coloured with Manga Studio, so it took me a little while to figure out which tools to use.
