Dennis awoke from his powerbomb-induced slumber only to be greeted at the sight of Brick Wilson being declared the winner of the tournament instead of him. After peeling himself off of the floor, the beaten dog stood up and shook the bull’s hand as a sign of good faith. He truly felt happy for him and was glad that one of them managed to claim the belt. Still though, it obviously didn’t go the way he wanted things to go and that left him feeling with a small pit in his stomach. Once the formalities were over with and he got a pat on the back for his efforts, Dennis climbed out of the ring and silently made his way to the locker room. The massive canine wasn’t used to feeling like this. Normally whenever he lost a match, he would bounce back instantaneously and have a good laugh over the experience. But this match was different. He somehow managed to survive to the finals and was so close to victory only to crash and burn right at the end like Icarus. Was this it? Was this the closest he was going to get to winning something grand? The thought troubled him. Opening the door to his locker room, the forlorn dog was surprised to see his friend Adam waiting for him. The self-proclaimed rebel asked his fellow canine to sit next to him so he could give him a surprise. Doing so, Dennis ended up getting a box shoved into his face as Adam went on and on about how he totally should’ve won that fight and how Brick only managed to win because he got lucky. As he opened the gift, the labsky mixed-breed was shocked to see a hint of black and blue inside the box. It was a letterman jacket just for him! It even had his initials stitched on it and everything! Dennis eagerly slipped on the custom outfit as his friend said that it was originally supposed to be a gift for him should he have won but now it was just something to make him feel better. Adam went on and on about how the big Canadian was “Totally gonna get another shot at a belt some day!” and how “He’s gonna teach that dumb bull a lesson!”. With his spirits renewed, Dennis took one last look at his new outfit before hoisting his buddy into the air and giving him a big hug! Unfortunately he forgot his own strength and ended up giving Adam a gift of his own, a couple of cracked ribs.


Sorry to spring some new art on you, guys. But I just had to share this as soon as I could! As some of you know, my buddy XtremeRebel has gifted me the occasional piece of artwork. Well this time, they've truly outdone themselves. Look at this piece! Dennis actually managed to get a prize for getting so close to the finish line! I really wanted to give him his own little epilogue but I wasn’t sure I was gonna have the cash to commission art of it. Well leave it Rebel to surprise me some gift art like this! That jacket is so freaking cute! I know Dennis has a couple of outfits already but I definitely wanna some more art with him in this dope-ass jacket!
