Sorry about the lack of an upload last week. I'd had a long, exhausting week two weeks before, then the week before last I was sick. So while I was better last week, I didn't have the energy to engage with people following a release. And while I'm sure everyone would have understood, I enjoy engaging and have been looking forward to posting this for a while.

This specific chapter isn't much. There's no drone conversion or even drones in it, it's nothing but plot, but more to my point: it's short. I was planning on this being a bonus episode one week, but with how rough this year has been and how limited my output has been I think it works better for me to make this (and another like it later) the weekly post. Is, sorry this week's chapter is more a teaser than anything.

I have no doubt next week will make up for it. In the meantime, you have a lot to think about. I'd love to hear your theories and what you think of this chapter. There's one, tiny detail that I'm incredibly curious if anyone picks up on and understands, because it's been mentioned before in a similar, tiny way.
