Next up is a gift for my friend 
common5 of her character Lyke.
She said that she wanted to give her character scales, so I thought I would help her out in by drawing a scale pattern.
I've been working on this over the past few days in between work and playing Fallout New Vegas.

That was November 2009, so a little over a year ago. Indeed much progress has been made in this past year, for those who haven't noticed.

Oooo. This came out really nice. I love the textures, colors and shading of all the scales, and the spiky hair running down his head and back look marvelous.
You also did an excellent job with how the horn is mounted to his head, and of course the open maw and tongue look awesome. Great colors and texturing.
