I know this picture can appear as if the snake is going to eat this falcon. But when you know these characters are close, the snake is merely protecting the bird while the bird is resting on the snake, both trusting each other. So this is a beautiful piece.
(Or I'm thinking of the wrong snake and that's not the one, lol.)
