This is Ka'ahkai, a creature of the All-Hollow forest called Ha'aow. Though they inhabit the same area as the aalukri do, their domain is the forest canopy. They live their lives under the light of the sun rather than the glow of the plants and they are primarily carnivorous. Like kestrals, they glide through the branches of the canopies and use their hooked talons to snatch small mammals unawares. They drink from bromeliad-like water pools that form amongst the foliage and never have reason to go below to the bioluminescent forest layers...but they still do. Adventurous and curious, this species can be found far and wide across the planet, one of the most adaptable. In colder regions, you will find them in shades of white with long coats to withstand the biting chill. Ka'ahkai is a Ha'aow from a tropical climate, where it is warm all year around and food is plentiful. This contributes to her carefree, bold nature and intense curiosity, as wherever she has gone in life there has been no situation she has been unable to escape unscathed from.
