Dragon Booster Fanfic: Academy of Secrets Chapter 1point1
Check each new version on my main page. I will eventually make the whole chapters available for easier access. For a refresher of the TV series, you can watch it free and legally here: https://tubitv.com/series/300006416/dragon-booster This is a fanfiction continuation of the discontinued Dragon Booster tv show. If you haven't watched the show, this will probably not make much sense. I'm supplying the text file as well as putting the story in the description. If you are curious, this art style is called Pointilism and typically looks better when you move further away or shrink the image. The text formatting may not work in description. Enjoy! I will be updating this based upon when I have at least semi-completed a section of the story and the thumbnail will change with it as best I can update it. Comic format will take a lot longer, if I ever get there.
Chapter 1
Destiny Awaits
Artha: "It’s hard to believe that in one week, we’re going to be part of the academy!"
Parmon: “A part of history”
Kit: “A part of the problem. Don’t forget,” Kit says before she stamps her foot. “Moordryd is joining the academy too!”
Artha: "I think...there’s a bit less to worry about that. When’s the last time Moordryd actually did something?"
Artha receives disbelieving funny looks from the remaining three: Kit, Parmon and Max, his younger brother.
Artha: “you’re right...I’ll keep an eye out. But what about you guys? If I’m at the academy, they might not let us just hang around. Academy racers aren’t really known for socializing.”
Kitt: “Hardly...they’re about as stiff as it gets. You’d think a dragon lifted its tail in their room or something. What gives?”
Parmon: “Ahem...if I may. The dragon academy has been a part of dragon city since shortly after the dragon human war. It was supposed to serve as a guide for dragons and humans into the next generation of riders so that the mistakes of the past would not be repeated in the present”
Max rolls his eyes: “lot of good that did us…”
Only to receive an angry look from Parmon,
Parmon: “what I mean is, there are tons of secrets that have been kept there from the original dragon human war. Essentially, students there aren’t students...they’re soldiers, trained to keep the peace, breed dragons, “ he states before getting interrupted
Artha: “Or fight in another dragon human war. Dad was right! We weren’t ready for this!///”
A look of pure panic cuts Artha off as he rightly surmises,
Artha: “He’s right behind me again, isn’t he?”
Mortis / Connor Penn not in his armor : “Indeed I am. Artha, I believe it is time that you are told...the truth”
Artha asks puzzled: “the truth?”
Connor: “The truth. Artha, meet me in the dragon priests cave and Artha...you can only bring Beau, no one else”
Artha: “What, but why?”
Kit: “Yeah, we’ve totally earned our share
Connor: “that is true, but Kit, this is something that Artha and Beau must come to terms with on their own. You will learn in time, I am sure of it, but, for now, it is a secret the dragon booster alone must bear”
kit snaps her fingers: scales!
