A memory of Tobias and Zavi sharing a meal together.
Rarely if ever did they share a lengthy conversation at the table. Somehow, he always took haste to return to their dorm even if it meant walking in the rain - but she assumed to be the anchor locking them in place. There always has been something oddly soothing about their time together that she couldn’t name or point out. Only this time did she remark something about him that didn’t sound diminishing in a way. It was wholehearted, a compliment - and it caught him off guard.
They never spoke of it again.

Man, cosnider my curiosity as a compliment to your unique art style here! How you can incorporate this kind of splash strokes but still able to convey the whole scene profile and mood O.o But hey, nice to see the jay and yeen in a frame together. Whole encounter seems like a heartwarming one despite the world they are living on X,3
Well the secret lies in the lighting and (somewhat) staying consisting with the shapes to make out what is happening in the scene.
But hecc, for me it is too wild. Could work out well on bigger scenes tho taht wouldn't take so much time in this style...
And yeah, they deserve more art with them together with all the stuff they've been through...

Oh yeah definitely! The mood is still quite extreme with the stark contrast everywhere in the rainy city.
And yeah the colours inhere reflect the mood of these characters in the moment: Zavi leaning in the warm tones and Tobias leaning back out, away into the cold blue.

Oh she always kinda had a crush on the sweet, gentle, nerdy blue bird, but they just aren't compatible and the new, isolated life just brought out the worst on the two.

Almost have some weird old married couple vibe in a way haha. Least the former cracks of her life are slowly starting to open, maybe with that they can hopefully turn things around or at least make a few small steps while still working within the confines of their weird apartment block
