another old piece from 2021, may of 2021 to be exact, this song was inspired by one of my favorite childhood games, clash n slash (2004)

and of course, due to me usually do very lengthy songs back then, this piece is of course 9 minutes long

this version is actually an extended version of this song, the non-extended one only has like 5 minutes but it didn't have the latter piano part which is one of my favorite parts of the song

this song never had a definitive name, it used to go by "clash n slash" and stuff like that but i just cannot make up my mind so i will just leave it unamed and would probably call it "space-y song" from now on instead


the song is a breakbeat song that utilized heavy acoustic drums with space-ish themed synths, bells and background pads and texturing combined with piano chords that used the iconic uk piano sound that was used a lot in the 90s
acid synths are also used occasionally which i really liked since acid synths are my favorite type of synth and i often-time use them in my songs
overall, the song gives an old school-ish futuristic vibe which i'm actually into

due to my lack of mixing and mastering skill back then, the song quality isn't too good and mixing sometimes sound bad but at least the nice synths and bells paid off
also, it was my most "creative" song back then due to me actually producing the notes myself without relying on the arp-creator thingy on fl, which is something i always used back then


the image cover is a 3d art i made on 3dsmax 3.1 (1999) and it was finished in february of 2022, which is almost a year away from the song itself
the 3d art is originally gold-ish, the one i used here is a purple-recolored version
