Just a little something for my friend
d3stic3 (who is also having a sale) As of late we've been rping our Outer Zodiac/constellations. Isis' constellation is the Drake or Dragon, who in one of the myths was struck down by Hercules. This dragon used to protect the tree that produced apples for the Gods. being slain the gods decided to give him a place in the sky.
That, and in allot of myth the dragon seems to be the one that gets slained,chained, shot and killed. You'd think the Dragon would be used to it by now eh?
note: probably the hardest part of this image was his nose, I seriously need to learn how to paint noses..and draw them ~~;

ahh... another zodiac from the rp. i wonder what i'd be? wish i could join in on the fun if it's happening this week but i don't have my comp so no skype. v.v (visiting mother in another state).
i forgot how the dragon guarded the tree of golden apples. but i thought it wasn't killed by herculease? he tricked atlus into grabbing them for him while he held the sky for him. hmmm... unless i (or you) are combining several myths. the thought of humans suddenly turning on the dragons might be symbolic of that ancient aliens thing i talked about, where humans decided to turn on the alien gods. there doesn't seem to be any hostility towards dragons in chinese astrology though.
