Hey... one of the last updates for the head before I work on the bodysuit!
Still needs the earfur attached properly, its a little too fluffy still. My hair razor apparently is breaking, and its not trimming the headfur anymore XD. I started just using scissors, and made a small mistake on the left upper lip <_<; gave me a funny expression, I might keep it like that! I attached my horrible nose, as you can see. The picture with my hand in it shows the size of the head (told ya its huge). It sits high on my head so hopefully with abit of bodysuit padding, it will look right!

Ha. I know the feeling. I threw together a partial for the first time last Halloween, and while it did turn out far better than I expected, it took much longer, and some of it, like the feet and tail, just look awful to me, because I spent so much time staring at them while making them, and noticing every little imperfection.
:P same way, I notice EVERYTHING wrong! and I am thinking of a way to fix my inside mouth covering <_<; I made it removable, with velcro patches, and its a thin, breathable material, and I made a hole in it to allow straws, but that hole is fraying a bit already, and is uncomfortably against my face, and if I open the mouth too wide you can see right through X3. But, I might leave it for now. Also, I am charging my video camera at the moment to give a video update of the talk jaw, to show how it is working with the fur on it now. that's the part I am most proud of :D.
Cool. How's the Chimera thing going to work? This is the main head, and you'll have two more to the sides or something? The fur definitely looks nice. Also, mind if I ask what the eyes are made of? I can't really tell from the picture. And one of the biggest problems with my suit was that I made the eye holes too small and it has pretty bad vision. So I guess be careful about that, or if you've figured out something nice, I'd much appreciate your secret technique.
Well a chimera is a mix of species :P. Look at my refsheet in my gallery to see what it will look like when finished. And the eyes are made out of this rubbery plastic sewing board stuff, I forgot what its called. its white and full of holes, then I painted the eyes on with acrylic paint. Its not a good system, however, the paint easily falls off. I am going to try something different on my next head.
yeah, first head! :P thanks! I just filmed a fursuit mouth test video, so I am converting it into Flash, with a bit of editing to make the music actually understandable, since I mouthed a song. I'll be uploading that shortly. I am very proud of my first talkjaw, which you really can't see in these pictures.
