Katt Visits Dogg: Chapter 4
Oscar and Molly went to Blaze’s bedroom. Posters of his favorite videogames were hanging on the wall.
“Boy, your bro sure is a passionate gamer!” Oscar said.
“You’re just noticing?” Molly asked. “He’s stuck in his videogame gizmo nearly all the time!”
“Heh, you’re right. Well, what do we play now?”
“My brother has some very good games. Super Meowrio Bros, Meowtroid, Meowtal Slug, Meowgaman…”
“Whoa!” Oscar interrupted. “Is there any game that doesn’t have the word meow in it?”
“Well, what did you expect?” Molly said. “These are games designed by katts, remember?”
“Ooh, right.” Oscar said. “I… uh… can’t wait to play them, especially with you!”
“Oh, Oscar…”
But when Molly searched for the games, she didn’t find them!
“Oh, no! Where are they?” she said. “Oh, right. Blaze said you could only play the games he liked the least.”
“How generous of him…” Oscar said.
“That’s what I said!” Molly said.
“Well, what games did he leave for us?”
“Stray Fighter, Claw Claw Land, Mice Clingers, and that’s it!”
“Wow, now those are very few games your brother likes the least.”
“I know… Well, which one do you pick?”
“Hmmm…” thought Oscar. “Stray Fighter sounds interesting!”
“Alrighty!” Stray Fighter, it is!”
Oscar and Molly booted up the game. Once they picked their characters, the bout began!
“Get ready to lose, katt!” Oscar said.
“You will be the one losing, dogg!” Molly said.
It turned out that Molly was a really good player! She easily defeated Oscar with lots of kitty combos!
“Cheese and crackers! She’s good!” Oscar thought.
“How was that?” Molly asked.
“Impressive!” Oscar said.
“Wanna try another round?”
“Um… yeah!”
“You sure? Because I defeated you easily, and I don’t want to see you with droopy ears and your tail between your legs.”
“Don’t worry. I’m a good loser.”
“Nice boy!” Molly said.
Hearing this made Oscar’s tail wag frantically. He never expected this phrase coming from Molly. Then, both heard Molly’s dad calling:
“Kids! Dinner is served!”
“Great!” Molly said. “You’re going to love mom’s cooking. She does it really good!”
“I guess so.” Oscar said.
Together, they went to the kitchen.
