3 friends wanted to try out a spell that would turn all of them into dragons. They didn't realise how the spell actually works and they lacked mass to create 3 seperate dragons. So, ultimately, 2 of them merged into a singular dragon (also borrowing a bit of the mass from the third friend) while the 3rd friend could only become, with the remaining mass, a kobold.
