The KV (Kliment Voroshilov) series of heavy tanks was developed by the Russians in 1939, and produced between 1940 and 1942. The KV-1 was armed with a 76MM main gun, and was slower than a floating log. A total of around 3,000 KV tanks were produced.
This is the KV-3, which was never produced in series, and was going to be armed with the 122MM D-25T. The KV series was later replaced by the Iosef Stalin (IS) series of tanks in 1943.
