What does an inspired man-eating kangaroo wear, to protect its own identity? A full Japanese kimono, cowl, and Noh-mask, of course!
But other heroes just call Kimono Kinga Su, "Kim". And no one knows what gender Kim is, and many are still perplexed, as Kim has a multi-vocal, alien-like, androgynous voice and never takes off its robes or mask around human citizens or heroes. Kim thinks it has fooled everyone by studying the flashy outfits that male and female heroes wear, and combining BOTH styles to wear! Bright yellows, oranges, pinks! NO ONE will ever suspect there is a sociopathic, scheming, man-eating kangaroo monster underneath!

It was fun to come up with! because of its posture and the way it folds its arms, the other players thought there was some kind of mantis creature underneath the robes...
I was actually inspired to take the mask idea from Haku, the "anbu ninja" from the Naruto series, but due to Kim's posture, I think, it reminds us more of Noh Face, from Spirited Away. Spirited Away is a great movie, too.

Yeah, Kim keeps in mind what people expect. I decided that the coolest part of my Man-eating kangaroo character, would not just be all the obvious stuff everyone can see in the pictures, but what I liked making here is the 'concept' of a character who goes against all expectations of hero comics.
Kimono Kinga Su was raised for many years in its lab cell, watching super heroes and villains in cartoons, so Kim has now an advanced understanding of heroes and villains from cartoons so it understands how their minds work, and can avoid making either of their mistakes, and always expects the unexpected. Now that Kim has been let loose in the world to pretend to be a hero and live in a heroe's base, Kim spends a lot of time reading as many super hero comics as it can, to "Keep ahead of the curve" when it comes to dealing with nefarious antagonists... and Kim hasn't messed up yet, like all the other heroes on hir team have--and Kim has also protected hir team from a lot of harm by planning ahead. Being able to scent old pheromones also helps a bundle in stopping crime before it can happen.
It's so cool to see people noticing Kim's strategies!

Posted last night, I play a shapeshifting colony of Bacteria. The most fun so far was when 'during a TV interview Neophage had the skin melt from the skull of a random human form(Neophage was in at the time) ala the nazi's from the first Indiana Jones film...they asked it a question and it decided to have fun.'The Team leader wasn't impressed, but it was pre-recorded, the by the time the interveiw made it to TV most of the Neophage footage was cut. Great way to introduce the PC's to each other though, background wise.

Lex, I think it's a GREAT hero concept, to have a creature with such an edge that, on one hand, you're thankful for it showing up to save the day, but on the other hand, as a typical citizen of the city--or even one of the other heroes--you're still a little scared of what this creature is capable of doing...
Though Kimono Kinga Su would definitely feel better about having Neophage, a creature more creepy than Kim, be seen on public TV.
(Talking about the Mutants and Masterminds RPG system) At least with the attractive/exotic trait, Kimono Kinga Su can still play up the "Cute & innocent animal" shtick, when shi eventually decides to go around without hir Kimono in public.
It also sounds like both of our characters are 'awkward monster masterminds' in training, as well.
