The Elysian Runner is an ornithomimosaur that inhabits the dryer regions of Elysiuml typically grasslands. Unlike its relative, the Sifterbil, this dinosaur is quick and nimble on its feet and... relatively helpless. While it can kick and scratch at enemies that are of a similar size to it, any larger carnivore can deal with it rather quickly. Therefore, instead of fighting, it does as its name implies: it runs. Easily exceeding 40 mph, the Elysian Runner is one of the fastest dinosaurs on the continent.
When it's not running for its life, this dinosaur forages among the tall grasses in search of food, which consists of seeds, fresh sprouts, insects, small mammals, and small reptiles. On rare occasions, whenever the opportunity presents itself it will also raid unprotected nests, relishing in the taste of fresh yolk.
