A Sine at Further Confusion posing with various colourful characters!
Not quite finished (still needs a lot of tweaks as well as a proper bodysuit with cyber doodads, padding, and fur mantle, etc.) but as done as i was able to make it in time for the con.
I was actually furring the head in the lobby and the creator's lounge the first couple of nights, heh.
Anyway, not the greatest photos either... my camera has really lousy night vision. (That and it's a decade old digital anyway, so it's not really very outstanding...)
These pics were snapped by
huskie666, as she was toting my camera around and being my handler - compared to Beisa (my oryx suit) in this head i can't see shit and will likely die without someone to grab onto.
Anyhow...

FC had a lot of non-furries around. They were pretty interested... i think i actually had my photo taken as Sine more times by non-furs (particularly the elderly!) than by furryfolk. Fun!

I actually prefer sewing by hand (though that may be because i've never had a good sewing machine, only a horribly frustrating piece of crap) ...but yeah, it takes a million times longer to finish that way. :-/
Should be strutting around at FWA, keep an eye out! Hopefully i'll have my Sine more complete. Good luck with yours too :3

Well, with the hood it keeps my neck and chin covered (you can't see much of my chin, but my jawline follows the bottom of the mask pretty closely, and would stick out if it wasn't covered in white.)
I do have a circular opening in the hood though so i can breathe and see :P ...otherwise it would just be too much. Breathing and sight is already cut down enough by wearing the head, heh.

...it's a chinese site, but i've ordered from them a few times and they've been pretty reliable. (Though the custom sizing is a bit too confusing and shipping takes longer as well) ...but they are super cheap due to where they are based.

I was watching you work on this-- remember me? Totally unremarkable boring guy? It was fascinating to see you you cut the little pieces of fur and got them to fit, so that the fur would line up. I had no idea how many pieces went into this.
I do like Sine. Unfortunately if I had my very own Sine I would try to make her, it, happy, and I'm sad if that isn't possible. I don't know whether it is. I hope she's able to feel that. She's too cute not to. :)

Well, Sine is happy when she is doing her job, which is serving her owner's needs... i suppose her 'happiness' probably isn't the same as ours (and it's probably difficult to measure) but she can feel satisfaction when she is complimented on her service.

I try to remain unseen, for various reasons, but lately the Looks like the Elevator Repairman Field of Invisibility has broken down a bit- I've actually had some people recognize me. Getting a story in the con book helped. I'm sure at least 1.4 people read it! :D

These are such great shots of Sine!! I can't believe you finished that head the first night you got there, it came out SO amazing! I found it weird, too, that so many nonfurs wanted pictures! It is especially curious why the elderly and cheerleaders are so drawn to furries. Hm. Something to ponder. ;)
