Years ago I stumbled upon a...fanfic written by one Peter Chimaera. Nay, a trilogy! Featuring a Digimon called...Digimon. This small set of fanfics were adapted to YouTube via Gmod by user ThatBloodyPirate111. (It's early Gmod YouTube idiocy at its finest, comparable to the series based upon Half Life: Full Life Consequences.) This was how I was introduced to the...story, and in those videos Renamon played the eponymous "Digimon."

So for whatever reason I thought about what "Digimon" would actually look like. And after thinking way too hard about this, here is the result. Considering Digimon apparently has a job and seems very concerned about the road getting destroyed and traffic getting stuck, it seemed the obvious influence was gonna be "construction worker." And why the shovel? Because DIGimon. And also he needs to use something to kill his "twin borthr" with "lethal blow." I can only imagine the robot suit he uses to fight the evil Digimon is based off of construction vehicles like bulldozers and excavators...I just don't know what portion his "laser shoot" is installed in.

For a short time I was concerned how well I could match the proper aesthetic the real Digimon have in their designs while thinking of this. Eventually I realized, "I'm working on a character from THIS story," so I stopped worrying so much about it.
