Lay Ft. Gabo ''Riverside Ride!'' [Paint 3D Artwork]
A new Abandoned Theme Park picture I just made! Gabo -- a relative of my Koopa friend Cloud -- invited me for a ride down the Lazy River somewhere near the border of the theme park. Well -- It wasn't what you'd call a ''lazy'' river, as Gabo soon came to discover. I carried one of those crappy inflatable boat things to the riverbank, while Gabo was unfortunately stuck with an old raft made entirely of wood. ''Come on, Gabo!'', I shouted back, ''don't be sad. My floatie isn't the most trustworthy either! Just come with me, I'll promise we'll be having fun!''
Well -- That turned out to be untrue. In no time, Gabo's rickety raft got stuck on some pointed rocks peeking out of the water, while I was already bracing myself for the impending waterfall that was roughly only a dozen feet away at this point. ''Lay! Waaait!'', I heard Gabo shout. I looked around once more, to see my young turtle buddy running among the rocks and the vegetation, which made traversing to the waterfall way more difficult than necessary. Gabo had abandoned the wooden raft he was previously sitting on, and was now struggling to keep up with me and my yellow floatie. I however had a determined look on my face! We had come here for some action, and this was undeniably a part of that action! ''C'mon, Gabo buddy!'', I kept encouraging him, ''you're almost THEEEEEEERRRRREEE.....'' 💦SPLAAASHH!💦 Before I could finish my sentence, I started tumbling down the cascade together with my floatie! With a big splash, I dove into a pool of water surrounded by vegetation and huge rocks. ''Lay...?!'' Gabo's voice came from many metres above me, ''...are you alright?'' I clambered back onto my floatie, both my fur drenched and my diaper swollen, the cause being all the water it had absorbed after the fall. But I figured it was worth it -- if it weren't, I wouldn't have gone and taken a chance at this wild baby! 💦SPLASH!💦, I suddenly heard right next to me. Gabo had jumped right after me and plunged into the lower lake himself.
''That was FUN!'', he exclaimed, after resurfacing from the deep center of the lake. I had already begun climbing out of the water using some rocks and a small ladder that was conveniently attached to one of the banks. Gabo meanwhile, was still trying to keep himself afloat in the lake, however difficult. ''But... Gabo,'' I asked him, shaking myself dry once I had reached solid ground again, ''...where's your raft?'' Gabo didn't know what to answer. Suddenly, we heard something crackle above our heads. 💥BONK!💥 ''AWW!''. The raft had come loose from its position on the rocks next to the stream and now came plummeting down the same waterfall, and Gabo was unfortunate enough to be in the EXACT spot his rickety raft was falling down. The dang thing fell RIGHT onto his gnoggin'! ''Ugh!'', he exclaimed once more. He swam towards me, while I reached out for him with my paw. I helped Gabo climb the last part of the rusty ladder. ''Are you alright, Gabo?'', I asked with concern, but at the same time I couldn't hide the silly grin I got on my face. ''Y-Yeah, I'm ...f-fine...'', the turtle groaned, ''b-but I'm afraid I can't say the same about my raft!'' He looked behind, and concluded that the wooden raft he was floating on had now sunk down to the bottom of the pool, due to the impact of the splash following the fall down the waterfall. I led my friend down the path that laid before us, now that we had climbed the ladder and had reached safety. ''L-Lay...?'', Gabo said, ''...I don't wanna be bossy, but I think a diaper change is in order'' I felt my diaper with a forepaw, and came to the same conclusion: ''Let's get back to the square next to the Free Fall Tower! Cloud will be waiting for us there -- he promised us to take us to the bumper cars once we'd meet at the tower!''
