Mmmh it is a bit hard to translate but I will try to explain. ^_^
In French une poutre is a beam.
We turned the noun "poutre" into a verb "poutrer" (it is used as a slang in french).
The verb "poutrer" mean to be beaten litteraly or in a figurative way.
Exemples :
On a fait une partie de PS4, il a pris le meilleur personnage, je me suis fait poutrer. → We played a game on PS4, he took the best charcter, I have been beamed.
A force de répandre de fausses rumeurs et de dire des ragots, sa collègue s'est mise en colère et l'a giflée. Elles se sont battues, elle l'a poutré méchant ! → By dint to spread false rumors and say gossip, her workmate get angry and slapped her. They fought, her workmate beamed her badly.
