Although I had already done Death Wind from F-Zero before, the purpose of doing it again here was to get me to practice using MuseScore 4 on a regular basis, although I may still use version 3 for some scores (this is why I labeled the subtitle "Percussion Practice 1"). Ultimately I'm waiting for version 4's YouTube playback capabilities to have all the bugs fixed (unless they are fixed and I don't know it). This is also a way of me coping with writer's block; sometimes you need to wait until the right day comes before you do a new score, and I do have two requests waiting on standby that I need to complete.

The instruments I used are crotales and the celesta. MuseScore 4 also has a new soundfont entitled "Muse Sounds," designed to sound more like the real thing, and not like MIDI.
