Oh man, this film is such a comedic classic, and I'd go as far as to say that it's one of the best Railroad films of all time, next to that of Unstoppable!

Yeah, man! And I mean the opening introduction is still amazing, really gives that feeling of traveling on a train, and seeing the train depart being hauled by those two EMD FP7s, you know you're in for a long journey. I should also bring up how, it's quite funny how originally Amtrak was going to be involved with the film's production, but they pulled out at the last minute, from what I recall much of the film was shot in Canada on CPRR Rail-lines, and the Terminal that's in the end of the film wasn't Chicago's Union Station, it was Toronto Union Station, funnily enough.

This is quite a pretty good concept idea, of what it perhaps would have been like! Especially to use the EMD SDP40F, which at the time were still pretty brand new to Amtrak.

Also, I think that Devereau in the film, had one of the most brutal, if not fitting deaths in that film, where he got his head batted off by a Yard Switcher, Hahahaha.
