Tye is the school outcast. Alone and cut off from the rest of society, he enjoys the pleasures of being left alone. Kylo is the new kid in the school. Silent, awkward, and in desperate need of interaction. No two people could be any more different, yet, they both have dark pasts which will bring them closer together than they could possibly imagine. Together they must work to put the pieces together of their pasts to find the answers they've waited their whole lives to find.
It's Monday, 3 days after Kylo was caught going through Tye's backpack and Tye is determined to make Kylo sorry for it. However Tye is showing a lot of who he is and is unwillingly pullling down his barriers. Can Tye bring his wall back up before Kylo finds out his horrible secrets?

As always, you've done a really great job. I'm really loving this ^^
And also, it seems like you've got some themes going on, important and deep ones, which is great.
Like, I could be wrong and just in over my head, but give me a chance XD
With Ms Day and the principal, they both show ways of caring for Tye. As the principal he would know when something horrible happens to one of his students, and he sees that Tye's troubled.
And Ms Day isn't Miss or Mrs Day, so something there's happened, I think. She's already a nice person, and if she's had her own problems in the past then she has some sort of experience, so she'd want to help Tye through his problems, even though she can't be sure of them.
It's these two that care mostly for Tye, the other teachers don't seem to as much, like Mrs. Ingram, he's just a regular student to her, and they wouldn't know a thing about him.
Ahhah, I could write a whole essay... Just on what I think, not sure how right I am.
But I really do love this :D
Fun fact: none of the schools here have their own pool, so they all take their students there by bus when they're doing swimming for phys. Ed. And the primary school I went to is about ten blocks away XD

haha. Thanks so much for this comment Mully! It's nice to know that somebody's actually looking into the story. And yesh, there are some darker themes happening, but I'm trying to reveal them slowly so it's like a mystery. And my old Jr. High school had a swimming pool, but my high school doesn't. It's sorta a 50/50 thing here in America about schools having a pool. Oh yeah, and Mr. Starling cares about Tye too, he just doesn't show up enough to show it. But every other teacher really just goes on with their job.
Ahh true, he was talking with Tye before the lesson started. :D
And the darker themes would be with both Tye and Kylo's homes right? Both different ones though,, Kylo being abused, and (If I'm right XD) Tye and Miles' mother in depression from her partner and brother/brother-in-law dying... And it seems a bit like Tye is angry with his mother, leaving him to look after Miles while she just lays in bed,
And I like the way you're bringing out these things, there's still a lot of mystery in it, like what happened to Tye's father and uncle, like, what happened to them, and Brittany being the one letting the reader in on that was cool, sorta like it was something that was overheard, because there hadn't been a mention of Tye's uncle.
The mystery that's behind people is one of the themes too right? Like, with Kylo going through Tye's bag wanting to find out more about him, and neither of them confessing their secrets to each other.
And being completely honest here, you're gonna make a great author.

haha. I was actually giggling as I read your comment just because I'm so happy somebody cares enough about the story and likes it so much. Although, I'm not going to confirm or deny anything about your guesses. You'll just have to keep reading. And I gotta thank ya Mully. You are one of the biggest reasons I keep writing. Your thoughtful comments really make me feel appreciated for the work I put into each chapter and the planning I have in. :) I wish more people were like you.
