Going back to basics with a grayscale study of a Morgan Weistling painting. Honestly, I let this one get a bit too carried away with the brushwork. I should have focused longer on getting accurate value structure first. ^^" The texture is a bit goopier than I'd like it as well... but that's EXACTLY why I do these studies lol. More practice needed. :P
