Basically whats going on in the pic is pretty much Croc admiring the latest addition to his vast collection he's acquired though his inter dimensional conquest of the numerous universes he's visited.


For the lighting I wanted to go with that sort of sickly green over saturated appearance similar to the medical deck level in Dead Space.
