Yay, another fursuit maker who appreciates full necks.
I couldn't do a wild dog, not yet. The patterns are very complicated, and I'm not capable of hand-sewing. I don't think coloring the fur would be effective though I haven't yet tried some ideas.
Without the rest of the costume, I can't make a good assessment of the overall asthetics of the costume. My insticts tell me the color pattern is too simply to be easily recognized as that of an African Wild Dog. I just hope the ears are rounded and huge, the defining characteristic of the species.

it's a clothes hanging rack, just a cheap adjustable one like this http://www.argos.co.uk/product/8757049 they cost about $10. A more heavy duty one would be better, but this was sufficient for the job at the time
