Target: Sonic.exe


Ahh, I see that this corruption has caught your eye, yes?


I will be honest, when I first laid my eyes upon this specimen, my life’s goal became clear. It is one of the first ones I had encountered, so I think it’s best to start off with this one in particular.


This anomaly was first recorded by a user named SirJCHyena231, and the cartridge containing it is now placed under the eyes of two users by the name of ASTRANOMICON and JoeDoughBoi.


Alright, let me get one thing clear. Sonic.exe is not a virus. It’s something else entirely.


Sonic.exe, also given the name “X”, was allegedly first created in the void between worlds, created from the primordial masses of the universe colliding. This being found gateways into the realm of humanity, as well as all of their creations. Curious, this being found itself drawn to the world of SEGA’s “Sonic the Hedgehog”, and took a liking to the series.


The creature bound itself towards “copies” of the games, sent out to various people across the world, searching for something it’s never seen before…


A fresh new soul to play with.


And after that, maybe an entire world…


As the name implies, Sonic.exe takes the form of Sonic the Hedgehog, the main protagonist of the series of the same name made by SEGA. The main difference between the two are the eyes. While Sonic’s eyes look… normal, Sonic.exe’s eyes are black with red pupils, and constantly protrude blood. Allegedly, this has caused a rash to appear under his eyes. His teeth are also given a faint yellow tint.


Sonic.exe is vindictive and cruel, and shares no interest in anyone for anything but his own purposes. Though he does have himself his own cult, he has no love for it, as they’re little more than pawns to gather souls. He is a cunning and manipulative being to those not in his grasp, and to those who are stuck with him, he is tortuous and sadistic.


Sonic.exe also seems to have an obsession with Sonic himself. However, he only has an attraction to the shallow image that he has of the Blue Blur in his head, and does not really care for the true freedom-loving individual the games center around. Of course, this obsession puts him at odds with Amy Rose, as well as those who like her. Notably, Sonic.exe tends to target those who have a disliking towards Sonic, though he does target other souls as well.


One major weakness that Sonic.exe tends to have is just how childish he is. Believing himself to be higher than the rest, he does what he does for pure sadistic pleasure, and will essentially throw a temper tantrum should things not go his way.


The various Sonic characters he tortures and maims throughout his “game” are not the actual characters, but rather previous players who are stuck “playing” with Sonic.exe for eternity. To escape from him means to have stopped existing in the first place.


Apparently, his favorite food is meatballs with tomato sauce and sliced pickles? Strange taste in food, but okay?


His physical form is, while very strong offensively and effectively immortal, is easily damaged.


SEGA knows about him???
