Not at all, they're powered by 9v batteries. The inverters do make some noise, if you'r ein a quiet einvironment, you'll hera the hum. At a dance or at Burning Man, you don't hera it though ^^

I grew up in Seattle! Played a lot of 1st ed Shadowrun in the early 1990s. ^^ but I moved to Portland about 12 years ago ^_^
