Mesma is part of the cult of light and fire. They are not the most popular member there, because of their appearance and also the fact that their magic consists of Shadows, which is the opposite of what their religion stands for.
Mesma played a big role in the hystory of the cult in the times of the big obliteration. They protected lots of members and churches with their life. Mesma never got recognition for what they did, due to others only seeing a swiftly moving shadow, so they life as a hidden hero of light.
