Hey everyone!
This drawing should have already been finished but I never got to do it entirely ever since I first sketched and linearted it shortly after watching "Puss in Boots - The Last Wish" in theatres. However, I finally managed to finish this art piece and couldn't be happier to share it with you!
When i was around 10 years old and watched many Shrek Movies (especially Shrek 2), I always wished I could draw Puss in Boots well. Like when he does the thing with his eyes, I wish some day I'll be able to capture his look in a drawing. Now with almost 23 years I finally drew him fully and can say... I did it. I acheived my goal of confidently drawing Puss in Boots. It might not be the way I first expected, but I did it.
Here we see him with Kitty Softpaw since the legend now has moved on to be a complete team with a respectful and equally strong partner. They belong together now and you can see his determination and commitment towards what lies ahead of both of them in his eyes.
Should I draw him again while using his huge eye trick? Maybe. We'll see.
I still hope you like this drawing. Please feel free to let me know what you think!
