It looks like someone has taken Dixie in and given the pup a good home. And they've given her a little reminder about how lucky she is to be there on this St. Patrick's Day, even though she may not fully appreciate it yet.
A friend gave me this idea a year ago as we were talking about St. Patrick's Day picture ideas. This one came up due to the fact that Dixie might be an Irish setter, although her breed has never been confirmed.
