What a pretty doe. I wish I had some money to donate to help.. We have a yearling San Juan doe named Autumn. We think shes a San Juan anyway, we were told Rex/Dwarf but shes too big for a dwarf and doesn't have rex fur. In fact she looks like a wild Cottontail. Husband picked her from the petshop as a 12weekold due to her sweet nature.

for the most part once a rex is cross bred they lose that fur.. its a gene that you have to have 2 of to get that fur i do believe. and the rex can be big.. depending if they bred with a mini or a full size rex.. and a dwarf is small but will get bigger if crossed also!!! so she might just be what they said.. (or not no idea i cant see her;p0

and thanks.. that doe is a single mane lionhead. i will breed her once she is old enough.. im sure she will have CUTE kits..

i have 2 litters due at the end of this month.. so yes in 8 DAYS!!!! and im way short on the tattoo pen and bunnies CANT show unless they are tattooed!!!!

I posted a pic of Autumn with my papillon. Im fixing to post a much better picture of her. Since she is a cross and a pet we will be spaying her when we can.

and yes its good to fix rabbits that are not breeders.. i breed so mine are all not fixed:P i only have 4 right now.. and in a weeks time.. many more.. i am keeping one more doe and a buck.. so will have 6 of my own and the rest will sell (less i just cant sell them all:P)

My husband would love to raise show rabbits(Tans) one day but that will have to wait until we are not in an apartment. We talked to management and they allowed us to have 1 rabbit but she has to stay caged. He built her a huge hutch and we do break the rules on occasion and let her run around, keeping a close eye on her.
We used to have a New Zealand named Basil we rescued from a meat barn but after katrina we rehomed him to a friends farm in Texas.

yeah some places do not like many pets.. we have alot here lol.. one dog 2 cats and so far 4 rabbits.. and 3 fish tanks.. soon to be 4-5

and my land lady comes to see my rabbits.. so im good!!!

and its good for them to run around the house as often as you can let her.. just watch she dont get into anything!!

We have Autumn, Sunny and Baby(Oriental x American Shorthair cat). They all get along wonderfully. Baby used to try to play rough with Autumn but Autumn thumped her pretty good so now Baby stays away from her. Its funny as Autumn will chase the cat.

She was a year old in September. We got her November 1st last year and she was about 10-12weeks old then.

Yes we wanted to make her a really nice BIG hutch so used the cubes. He still wants to as 1-2 more levels to it for her. We switched her bowl tho to a side mount aluminum one as she got where she was taking the ceramic bowl down to the bottom level and putting it in her littler pan. She managed to break one dish that way.

I grab carpet pieces when they replace the carpets in the apartments in our complex and put them down in the dining(bunny) room for her to make footing easier for her.
