More Dusk concept art. One of the things I really want in the game is layered platforming. I love in games when you can go through a door and end up in the background. This is mostly a mock up of how I imagine this to look. Also I was also trying to work out how Kiya would jump and grab onto things while still holding her scythe. I came up with a slight improvement to this after drawing this, but I'll try drawing that again later to see how that looks.

layered platforming (from my limited knowledge of it) is pretty awesome. There's this one level in Sonic Colors...while you don't go into the background...the enemies are in the background shooting at you, and you have to hit the switches to destroy them...it's kinda cool....I'm rambling. XP
cool... the game you referring(entering a door and exit on the background)is related to Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus but they're more riddle-action related. Surely this game will be amazing! Of course this must be balanced to be enjoyable(just like Oddworld, because in the first schemes they're visual helps to practice with commands) Also you wanna do this level in schemes
Schemes games are not scrolling levels(Heart of Darkness,Oddworld,Another World etc) Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I'd love the game to look half as good as the first two games in the Oddworld series. I'm wanting the room designs to be akin to those games too. In that some rooms will be just a screen wide, and some will be a few screens wide. I love that kinda system that utilises both effectively.
