Having encountered a trio of bunnies, the snake made his move. Coils were thrown around one while the second ended up fairly quickly waist deep in hungry serpent gullet, crying out for help to the third. Honestly, the snake expected the third bunny to run, an event that he was perfectly fine with. After all, two out of three in his stomach wasn’t a bad deal!

It was only as he was working his jaws over the feet of the second bunny, the first now just a shapely wiggling bulge beneath his scales & sliding ever deeper, that he noted that the third HADN’T run off. No, he was just standing there, eyes wide & staring as his… friends? Brothers?…were consumed. If the snake had shoulders, he would have shrugged them, arching his neck as the second bunny’s head slipped past his lips. It wouldn’t be the first time prey had chosen to freeze up instead of flee when he struck.

It wasn’t until he felt fingers working between his lips, pulling his jaw open wide to admit a sparkly-eyed grinning bunny face to peer inside, that the snake realized that fear hadn’t kept the third around.

“Woooow! You swallowed em up like it was nothin!”

To say he was confused… would be the understatement of the year.
