Oh just *BRRRT* that. Just reading that people are complaining three times in a row is frustrating...
I just absolutely adore her and her hair and honestly just think about it: Maybe there are curious Na'vi who are interested in learning about "modern" society? Some who are bored with the traditional tribal life and just want to go out and see cubic stuff for once or drink a milkshake for the unique first time brain-freeze.
You know, maybe she right here became a raver? Maybe she's the designer type and wants to drawn? Maybe she just really likes rainbows? Does she like bubblegum?
Dont let artistic freedom of hand and mind be taken away, because it causes the creation of amazing pieces such as this!

Omg you have no idea how many people I came across this past two weeks that are so "no fun" people and takes stuff about Avatar way too seriously
I mean yeah ! Or even an Avatar or a Recom that would super fan of pastels or rainbow colors ! Sometimes you just wanna draw sometimes for fun but sometimes people absolutely need some explanations about it. Like some people literally said that I "whitewashed" the Na'vi by doing a white Avatar... Like wtf ? I don't even wanna explain to those people anymore

Aw thank you, you have no idea how much I appreciate such long comments, like I don't get that often but those are the best because I like to talk and discuss about each others opinion ! That's why I try to share also, even without drawing, like last week I tweeted that I was about to make Namor from Wakanda Forever as a Na'vi (because I just got this idea out of nowhere and really like it) and some people came to bother me saying that I shouldn't, that Na'vi aren't a good representation of Indigenous culture and that James was Anti-Indigenous, like... I'm just here to draw but some people are just searching for a fight 🤷♀️

But honestly, its sometimes maddening how quick people are to assume or accuse someone of "cultural appropriation" for expressing artistic freedom, making art from fantasy and inspiration and even while genuinely appreciating other cultures and such... But yes, just as you said: Some people are just looking for a pickin', but i assume thats the problem when working with "official lore" in public fiction... Yeah, then there are the overly hardcore fans who stick to the source material like flies on a glue trap... Even i had to deal with similar problems in the past for creating my Kurtesh tribe. People called names and things, simply because i created a "tribal society" while being "white" but i think all of this is just getting a bit overboard.
To get back to the nicer things: I absolutely dig your stuff. Sometimes, all the NSFW stuff gets tiring and its just balm for eyes and soul to see a well practicing artist doing some honestly wholesome stuff. I enjoy your unique style. I wouldnt call it simple, but its this sweet comicy style thats really easy and fine to look at and yet there's just the right amount of complexity and details to make it really good art in my opinion. Also im not just talking about the Avatar stuff, but your whole gallery!
So let me tell you: Dont be bamboozling'ed by neigh and nagging, stay in your lane and keep the good art coming, people who enjoy your art will appreciate it from the bottom of their hearts and thats what i think is whats important!

Yeah ! I mean, it's not like we're insulting it or anything, especially not when it comes to fictional cultures ! Tbh I never had any problem with anyone before, but somehow since I've been a lot into Avatar I started to meet a few people like this, not much, but a few, and I don't understand why people take this way too seriously ! Plus, I'm not against people's opinion, sometimes it can be very interesting to discuss about it, get their point of view even if that's not the same, so this kind of comments are interesting at all, for me and for them !
But yeah I can understand that, I created a few Clans in the Avatar fandom and I'm pretty sure I'll get some critizes, especially because I did a clan where women and men are divided, and I'm sure I'll get some comments like "this is pro-feminist" not at all, just think it would be cool, also there's a story, it's not coming out of nowhere !
