ah yes, blaze zaku. a friend of mine got me a model kit of this one for my birthday a long time ago. i will give gundam seed one thing, it had cute ms designs.

MS designs, yes....

However, it was kind of a disappointment. They turned it into a teenage soap opera... With robots.

Awesome posts. I know how you feel. I'm just glad that Gundam 00 came out and brought back the correct mix of the right type of drama and Giant Robots fighting Giant Robots.

Those are definitely my favourite Zaku design. Their helmets are just such a pleasing shape.
I have SD kits of the green and the pink, and the orange is on order. Been thinking of buying a 1/100 one as well.

I love the pink one with its huge gun. I really like how they're engineered too, with movable shoulders so it can hold the gun with both hands.

Zakus have always had an intentionally alien appearance, but when you draw them, they seem to bring to mind a rather tribal theme, what with the midriff and the shape of the skirt. Very interesting! I like it~
