Gabriel is courting a Drow. The courtship is moving slower than molasses in winter. Both characters aren't into rushing into things, and both have hundreds of years to decide if they want to move to the next step.

But if they had a kid, this is how I imagine her. I wanted to give her darker skin, actually, but I'm not good with working with very dark skin colors.
