The main thing that threatens them on their own planet is giant bees living in underground hives, that's where they get the honey they love so much from.
But another threat they face comes from outside their planet, the Basfliman empire tends to enslave the Guilliguines, raiding villages and taking prisoners, thought that doesn't happen as much anymore, not successfully at least.
