This is a follow-up to my most recent journal asking if anyone would be interested in "egg" adopables from me.
Basically I'd post about 5 or so intricately patterned eggs and for $5 or so, you can pick one to adopt and what species will come out of the egg (any animal species... including fantasy creatures and anthros). About a week or so later the egg will hatch and you will get a baby critter of the species you've chosen with markings that reflect the markings of the egg. The person who bought the egg will be able to choose the gender, give them a name/story/backstory/whatever. They can even draw them as grown-ups if they don't want to keep them as babies!
This is an example of what will hatch from the egg. The image quality will be exactly what one will get when the egg "hatches". These will not be "cookie cutter" adoptables that are just recolors of a base! Each one will be hand drawn and will be unique based on the species chosen!
The response I get from this example will determine whether or not I go through with this project... and how much I charge for an egg (Which will se within the $5-$10 range... a steal considering how much I normally charge for commissions!)

When they come out of the egg, they'll be babies... because I've never heard of an adult hatching from an egg. >_>
Though if there's enough interest I may give the adoption of drawing an "adult stage" a week after the baby/hatchling stage if there's enough interest. Though the person who buys the egg is more then welcome to draw them a their adult stage themselves. :)
And anthros will be more then welcome. When an egg is purchased, the person will just have to specify if they want an anthro or feral.

You have to understand that one of the reasons I can keep these so cheap is because they are kids. Children take a lot less time for me to draw then adults do. >_<
Of course, I'm giving anyone who buys an egg permission to grow up their hatched critter themselves, drawing them as adults or what not.
I haven't decided, yet whether I'm going to give an option to bypass the egg to adult stage when hatching or add an adult stage a week after the hatchling hatches... but it will most definately be an extra fee (I'm giving a rough estimate of $20-$25 for the total adoption if the client wants an "adult stage" added on.

Ok, what if the head was tilted down so the face is not seen, would that be helpful? Trying to make sure it's easy/good for you to do before I buy so I don't waste your time. BTW, LOVED the Profile of The Gryphoness I named for you, she looks beautiful =^^=
