Amadeus' sketch turned out to be ... quite interesting.
His spirit/Astal form is a black cobra with horns and thorns. Considered from the point of view of earth species, then Naja sumatrana (Equatorial spitting cobra) is the most suitable.
The dagger symbolizes his albeit warlike, but cautious nature; the flowers are actually not roses, but Dalen'myar'su'ar* from the petals of which the strongest poison is make; the dark liquid in the flask is precisely this poison as a symbol of deceit and Amadeus's cowardice.
