One of the greatest things I ever built was a 'Self Grooming Rack' for our miniature horse. I took six heavy duty shop brooms (push, with those insanely long 'Brushes' having very stiff bristles). Nailed two on each side (vertically), and two across the top (horizontally), then a stout 'Doorway' and feets, so he could walk in/scratch to his delight.
That little scamp damn near scratched/groomed himself BALD during the Spring shedding season, and of all his many toys, he loved that one, the most! (It was a toss-up against the ball we hung from the tree branches, and him playing 'Tether ball' with that!).
Ahhh, those were the days!
Now, I have to hand groom a Husky AND a long haired Catto, and Gods, do I wish people were born/built with FOUR ARMS to manage 'em!

At one time, we had the horse, doggos, MANY cattos, fishies, turtles, frogs, snakes, even 'Caught' a fledgling hawk that had a bad 'First time flying lesson' out of the tree, landing in our back yard, and just sorta hung-around a while!
It was great!
Now it's just me and the two critters, and that's fine. They keep me on my toes as-is!
