a little drawing which somehow mid drawing it inspired me to make a little story around it kinda
it goes something like this: avali born on a dysfunctional colony flees into the wilds after an outbreak of violence, grows into her teens like a feral animal surrounded by wildcats until picked up by Oracle pilgrims due to the big Ai pinging said planet to have something important on it, never adjusts to their lifestyle and only gets minimaly augmented, all is well until she one day overhears plans to let the ai loose onto the general net and goes stealing mcguffin data chip preventing said action, flees with an hijacked shipped and is now a fugitive and possibly slowly going insane from pack loss as she left them behind (they wouldnt agree to the heist anyway)

So yeah quite frankly story is based off the scrapped starbound avali questline found in the triage files (or in the codexes you can spawn in via spawnable items) and bits of my own valis backstory which due to nostalgia reasons is heavily tied to starbounds setting (pathetic ik)

my best guess on why its scrapped is probably due to the massive changes and cuts starbounds beta received, could possibly also just be ryu suddenly dunking the reboot and ditching every aspect of avali tho i idk i wasnt there to witness that shitstorm lol
