~2019
On October 11 this year something happened that should not have come, my dear friend, Tiger, passed away. He was born in 2011 and lived with us for 8 long years. Unfortunately, due to errors in the content, he had health problems that sharply worsened in October this year, after he was lost and returned after 5 days. He was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and hepatosis. It was possible to live with this, however, due to the not entirely correct recommendations of the veterinarian and the slowness in providing assistance, we were unable to save him ...
The Tigrik was of redhead color with dark-redhead stripes, some of which turned from stripes into spots with age; with a snow-white chin and partially vibris, breast, belly, with cute white "socks" on the paws. But being a kitten, he looked so much like a little tiger cub with his stripes that he received the name Tiger/affectionately Tigrik. The Tiger was not a thoroughbred cat and was born to an ordinary village tricolor cat, which I liked to call the Moon for her gentle and always good temper. He had a complex character. He was an independent cat; not needing much attention and affection; always preferring freedom to imprisonment in the apartment; excellent hunter for birds and mice; with definitely the soul of a strong fighter. Being free, the Tiger experienced many adventures: fighting for territory with local cats, meeting dogs, including meeting a fox and even poisoning. He knew how to navigate well and if he went far, he always returned. And in what alterations did not fall, always kept with dignity. Even being a wounded fox, the Tiger did not ask for help from us, on the contrary, fought to the very end, which actually terrified the veterinarians, since he fought with them no worse than with an equal opponent. What an incredible way, he even managed to get out of the veterinary bag for cats and muzzle to bite the finger of my mother, who was holding him at that moment by the scruff of the scruff. Well, after all, everyone knows, that cats are liquid, and in the case of the Tiger, this is a very dangerous liquid, hehe
I will never forget how he first appeared in our country house, we were very afraid, that he might get lost. Therefore, we decided to "let go" him on a leash so that he could explore the territory, but not run away. And what do you think? Distracted for a couple of minutes, returning, we found, that he had broken off the leash, literally tearing apart it apart, like a chain dog. We searched everywhere, but could not find his. But towards evening, the Tiger nevertheless deigned to return and was immensely pleased with himself.
Ah, I remember how he scared an electrician to death, because he had an interesting feature, not to hiss like an ordinary cat, but to growl, even reminding a dog of something. The electrician throughout his work, was very afraid, that the Tiger would rush at him xD And left quite quickly. Really fun experience.
Although no less fun experience than the fact, that Tigrik considered himself a chinchilla, hehe Yes-yes, chinchilla. When we took his, then at the same time they gave us the female chinchilla, also a young. They grew up together and up to a certain point even walked together. Pipa, that was the name of the chinchilla, was not at all afraid of the Tiger, on the contrary, she liked to jump on him and sit. Tigrik participated in walks and even "swimming", he liked to ride in the sand and this habit remained with him until the very end. Each time, after bathing Pipa, a piece of sand remained on the floor, we did not remove it, until the Tiger was bathes too xD
A lot of funny memories ... I hope, that they will forever remain in our memory. The Tiger was an amazing cat and my very close and special friend. I love him and will always remember.
One day we meet again, I believe in it …
