Roland VII is considered as a tyrannical king, he reigned for 10 years before being deposed by his army which judged him cruel and arrogant.
He was suspected of having killed his brother Roland VI by poisoning and tried several times to kill his son but without success.
After his dismissal, he was imprisoned and returned to captivity for 14 years before dying.
