A Furnal Equinox Announcement
Hello everyone.
I wish to make a public announcement about the upcoming Ontario convention I will be attending. I will be at the Dealer's Den from Friday to Sunday throughout Dealer's Hours. However there will be some changes this year compared to previous conventions. This year, I'm going to try to pace myself when taking commissions, opening MOSTLY home works instead of on the spot - trying to do as many physical 6 - 8 inch badges as possible throughout the convention ( between 8 - 10 ). This is including illustrations. Badges are harder to complete than illustrations as they require penciling, inking and hand coloring, cutting and lamination ( so a lot of labor ). Illustrations can be a bit more lax as they take less steps to complete ( Not a lazy thing ) and can be given to clients within a large envelope.
This year, I will be doing less On The Spots when it comes to badges, but will still be taking home works. Due to mental and physical health, I'm not as fast as I used to be when pumping out artwork in the course of 3 days. So this year, I'll be pacing myself ( or at least try to ). All commissions will be open, but I plan to do fewer at the conventions ( not including on the spot illustrations as they are cheaper and quicker to do ).
So all in all, if you wish to commission me for a badge, I will be open for them until the end of the convention. However, there will be less badge commissions that will be finished DURING convention time. If you wish for a custom illustration, they will be done at the convention ( sketchbook commissions have priority ).

Completely understandable luv! Pace yourself and don't wear yourself out, I won't be attending this year unfortunately but I have seen artists when they take on too much and overwhelm themselves, your work regardless of the type is always worth the wait, whenever I get work at conventions - even if I buy it as an on the spot deal - I tell them to put me at the back of their list should they receive a lot of other commissions, I want them to feel as relaxed as they can when they do business with me, so I am more than willing to wait for something I want so dearly ♥ take care and be sure to have at least a little fun on the side during your trip! =^*^=
I'm glad to hear you'll be trying to take it a little easier this year. It often sounds like cons are almost exclusively a work event for my artist friends and it's pretty sad to me when it feels like they didn't get to enjoy themselves at all. You should get to enjoy the community just as much as anybody else and I understand it must be a tough decision, but good customers should be able to respect that.

Oh m'darlin'lil'cub* I've always felt that you an evfurry artist are already givin' the furry family so much that'cha've already done yer share'a bearin' the weight of what'cha bring ta try an make things easier ta those ya inspire... I will always cherish the fact that I even got ta be given more life by how ya've presented me, knowin' how taxin' it can be ta express it... means even that much more... will always be even that much more cherished ta me!
