this is a little outdated now, as I've since made some more changes to these guys. But here's one of my initial nox vox (Victoria's species) concepts.

Basically nox vox are eusocial like ants, bees, and naked mole rats. This means they live in large communities of related individuals who all share the same mother. (Kinda like an ant queen)

They're descended from nocturnal burrowing creatures, and although they've had a whole lotta time to adapt to a more high tech lifestyle, they still retain some traits of their ancestors. For example, they're super stretchy and squishable, and are still specialised to navigate in the dark. They're also shockingly strong for their size. (5ft is pretty much as tall as they can get, and even that's pretty rare lmao)
